	Lionel Sander Session: Learn how to take advantage of the Complete BC Science 10 Program Saturday, 8:45 am Join Lionel Sandner as he walks through the components of the BC Science 10 program and how you can use this complete program in your classroom.
	Donald Lacy Session: Chemistry Demos and Activities for the New Science 9 & 10 Curriculum Friday, 12:45 pm The presentation includes standard demos every teacher should have in their tool kit plus more (including cold light, iodine clock, dust explosion, acid base-indicators, Geiger counter). Ideas for activities for students (Chemistry Vocabulary Bingo, interactive notebook, flame tests). Instructions provided for each.
	Karen Naso Session: Biology in the New Science 9 & 10 Curricula Friday, 2:00 pm This presentation will introduce the new Grade 9 and 10 Biology curricula and includes activities and demonstrations features in these courses.
	Jim Milross Session: Earth Forces Demos & Activities for the New Science 10 Curriculum Friday, 3:15 pm The presentation will highlight activities and demonstrations for teaching the Earth Forces Unit in the new Science 10 curriculum. Topics will include heat transfer in, on, under, and above the Earth’s surface. A variety of ideas will be shared with activities and interactive demos for students. Instructions will be provided for all content in the presentation.
	Vijay Pereira Session: Analogies, Memory tricks, Stories and Recipes for Science 8, 9,& 10 Saturday, 8:45 am Making Pizza, Adding Analogies and Memory Tricks, Storytelling are all part of personalizing your classroom. This dynamic, fastpacedworkshop will leave you inspired and energized as it ties a number of teaching strategies, games and instructional methods with student success in the science classroom. Page references to BC Science texts will allow you to make curricular ties to help explain difficult concepts to struggling students.
	Glen Fatkin Session: Moving Forward With Science 10 - Motion Saturday, 10:45 am Come and get a “First Look” at the new Motion Unit for BC Science 10. An analysis of the unit content and activities will be presented by the author. Selected activities will be demonstrated using both traditional and more modern equipment.
